Whether you're in training, changing careers, or just looking to improve, the best way to learn is from the best in the insurance industry. That's exactly who I invite on the Königsmacher podcast—to talk about their life, career, and success journeys. That's why the subtitle is: The insurance industry podcast with the best of today for the best of tomorrow.

This week, Niko Stemmermann (#socialmediaholic #familyfocus #coach) joined me for the second time. I first spoke with him 4.5 years ago, and a lot has happened since then. Back then, he was "just" an OMGV Award winner and managing director of a modern Provinzial agency operating online under the name "RevierEngel." Today, he's still the managing director of an even more successful modern Provinzial agency, but he's also a two-time OMGV Award winner, a father of two, a podcaster, a successful personal brand on Instagram, and a provider of financial education workshops. He's still RevierEngel—but that brand has now become a pure B2B brand under which he and his team guide insurance agencies toward the "Agency 2030" model—and very successfully at that.

So there was more than enough to talk about in detail and openly. First, we discussed the further development of his insurance agency. The most visible changes are the expansion to multiple locations and the shift from RevierEngel to the personal brand Niko Stemmermann on Instagram. This was a conscious move, and looking at the follower numbers, it was absolutely the right one. While he previously had about 5,000 followers, today he's approaching 35,000—and in a short time. But Niko himself emphasizes: "You can't forget, running Instagram like this is a hell of an effort." An effort that pays off, though—he even gets compliments in nightclub restrooms. But he tells that story best himself on the Königsmacher podcast.

Beyond social media, the two financial education formats "Real Life" and "SheInvests" are central to Niko Stemmermann's business model. In these workshops, participants are educated on insurance and financial topics. These workshops work so well that the concept is now being made available to other agencies. "From this RevierEngel construct, not only did the insurance agency topic emerge, but also everything we do in the B2B area," Niko describes the development.

The next step in this B2B business is the "Agency 2030" coaching program. This is no longer about individual formats but about the strategic development of entire agencies. Stemmermann wants to specifically prepare agents for upcoming changes and give them concrete tools. His goal is clearly stated: "We want to prepare agencies in this coaching to be maximally ready for the future." The focus is on topics like digital visibility, processes, and structure—exactly the elements that have shaped his own business model.

For you as an agent or broker, Niko's journey offers a blueprint for modernizing your own practice. Building a personal brand on platforms like Instagram can dramatically expand your reach and attract clients who value transparency and expertise. Financial education workshops position you as a trusted authority, not just a salesperson. And forward-looking coaching programs ensure you stay ahead of industry changes. The key takeaway: the agencies that thrive in 2030 are the ones investing in digital visibility, structured processes, and genuine client education today.
