Oh You Ugly V – The #UglyChristmasInsuranceSweaterChallenge Enters Its 5th Year!
The days are getting shorter, and gingerbread has filled the supermarket shelves for weeks—it's officially time to think about Christmas! Over recent weeks, we've received a flurry of emails asking one burning question: Are we searching for ugly Christmas sweaters in the insurance industry again this year?
The answer is a resounding YES! As many of you pointed out, this campaign has become a beloved industry tradition. So, we are officially launching the 5th Annual #UglyChristmasInsuranceSweaterChallenge! Everyone is invited to design their most hideous, ghastly holiday sweater and submit a photo to ohduschreckliche@versicherungsbote.de by November 24th.
A Tradition of Terrible Taste and Self-Irony
Over the past four years, the insurance world has proven its self-irony, questionable taste, and courage to embrace the ugly. We've received over 70 gloriously awful sweaters, but we believe you can do better. We know it can get even uglier! ??
The Simple Rules for Spectacularly Bad Fashion
The rules remain beautifully simple:
- Theme: Your creation must have a clear connection to insurance, risk, finance, or related topics. Think policy forms, claim processes, iconic symbols, or industry jargon!
- Originality: Unleash your creativity! The uglier, funnier, and more insurance-focused, the better.
- Submission: Send a clear photo of your monstrous masterpiece to ohduschreckliche@versicherungsbote.de by November 24th, 2024.
- Template (Optional): Need inspiration? Use our classic "V" sweater template as a starting point (see below), but feel free to start from scratch!
The key deadline: Your photo must be submitted by November 24th. This is the only way to qualify for the industry-wide vote to crown the owner of the absolute worst taste.
The Voting and The Grand Reveal
From December 1st to 14th, the entire industry will vote to decide who truly possesses the most dreadful style. Then, mark your calendars for December 17th! Tune in at 12:24 PM for the insurance industry's big Christmas show, where we will reveal the "Terrible 10" finalists. We'll also be joined by special guests to explore Christmas from a lighthearted, not-so-serious insurance perspective.
